Clipse share video for ‘The Birds Don’t Sing’

Clipse has shared the video for the song “The Birds Don’t Sing,” taken off their critically-acclaimed album Let God Sort Em Out – their first full-length project in 16 years.

Let God Sort Em Out, executive produced by Pharrell Williams, features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Nas, John Legend, The-Dream, Ab-Liva, Stove God Cooks and more, and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart via Roc Nation Distribution.

The video for The Birds Don’t Sing, directed by Brendan O’Connor, features scenes shot at the Thornton brothers’ family home in Virginia Beach. The visual shares imagery from their childhood, including home movies and family photos, along with an emotional performance set in the family living room.  The song was written as an homage to Pusha T and Malice’s parents, who passed away within a year of one another, and feature a chorus from John Legend and Voices Of Fire.
